This picture was released in the later hours of today by the Akwa Ibom state government, showing Annie Macauley; the wife of the international singer 2face Idibia, accepting what seem to be keys and documentations of a Toyota Prado SUV: a gift from the reigning governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio.
This was received in the presence of her husband and a friend, Jackson Udom.
Right after announcing the nature of this gift on Friday which was the couple's traditional wedding day, Godswill Akpabio came under immense criticism , His announcement was a gift of two brand new Toyota Prado SUVs to both 2face and his wife. He also reportedly promised an all-expense paid trip for 29 delegates from the state to attend the white wedding of the couple fixed for Dubai, the United Arab Emirate on March 23th.
Opinion
I wonder where all this money comes from? (tax payers sweat and corruption). This is an Ideology I can't wrap head around. This should not happen when that same State Akwa Ibom is plagued with citizens that cannot even afforded a cup of Garri or three square meals. Absolutely not acceptable....!
