Bernice Dapaah is the Executive Director of the Bright Generation Community Foundation. According to myjoyonline, a reporter of modernghana.com, Bernice was awarded a three year fellowship by Vital Voices which is a an organisation founded by Hilary Clinton running on a non-profit basis.
During these three years, Bernice is to gain vital training and mentoring opportunities from some of foremost women leaders which will help mould her further to excelling her uniqueness in social entrepreneurship hence pushing her empowerment of women.
As a rising social entrepreneur who founded the Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative in 2009. Miss Bernice proved her leadership by nurturing the Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative from a vision idea to a mission and now as an award winning social enterprise. Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative has ended respect and recognition by winning several international awards like the World Business and Development Award 2012, GIZ Impact Business Award 2011 as well as UNEP SEED Initiative Award 2010.
As a result of Miss Bernice coordination nationally, her efforts and hard work has doubled the National Free Shoes and Educational Supplies to student in need in various underprivileged communities Nationwide. Therefore complementing the government of Ghana's free school feeding and school uniforms programs.
Already Bernice is a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum and was also appointed as a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Biodiversity and Natural Capital. This has surely given landed her into on of the world's foremost intellectual network.
