#FlammeOlympique #Inspiration

KIBONEN NFI :🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲PEACE AND UNITY FOR CAMEROON :

Cameroon has been going through turbulences for over 4 years today! And as Kibonen emphasizes in her video! we are the ones to bring the peace and unity needed for Cameroon ! There is something that strikes me when you get to speak to people who have reached a certain level of success; humility ! Despite all the success and celebrity status, Kibonen Nfi still doesn’t forget where she comes from and doesn’t belittle anybody who approaches her.

FASHION PROFILING: CRISP WHITE AND JEANS GET THE BLOGGER TREATMENT

White-on-white always feels fresh indeed. We can't get enough of Cameroon celebrities deep rooted in nollywood. The Style Scribe Joan Ngomba styled her white  jeans by pairing with a crisp white blazer and nude bag; she masters a light and airy take on a casual chic denim look. On the other hand, When I first noticed  Xtie Becca popping up in street style roundups, I was taken back by how different her style was from the usual crowd: opting for sneakers over everything and seamlessly merging urban and quirky pieces in the style of Rihanna. I must say her spring look is appealing.

French Justice minister Christiane Taubira resigned this Wednesday

Is she a victime or victor??? Are you fund of french politics?? Then you should know this woman for whom I have had a lot of admiration for her leadership skills: heading one of France’s toughest position justice minister, she resigned this Wednesday, after clashing with the Socialist government of President François Hollande over its proposal to amend the constitution to allow authorities to strip some homegrown terrorists of their nationality. Her name:Christiane Taubira “agreed on the need to put an end to her mandate as the debate on the constitutional amendment opens in Parliament today,” the president’s office said. For François Hollande, Taubira’s departure also marks the loss of a key figure on the left of his government at a time when he is trying to rally a fragmented Socialist party behind him for a bid for reelection in the presidential race next year.

Taubira, who was criticised by the right for the same-sex marriage law and accused by them of not being hardline enough on justice, had often faced racist taunts from far-right sympathisers. At one rally, children had waved bananas at her. A municipal election candidate for the far-right Front National was forced to withdraw in 2013 after likening her to a monkey on Facebook. She later told Libération that racist attacks “were an attack on the heart of the republic”.Taubira has been replaced by the Brittany MP Jean-Jacques Urvoas, who, as president of the parliamentary laws commission, has been helping Hollande to craft the constitutional changes.

Louis Vuitton has gone short on their creativity

I am sorry Louis Vuitton but, have you gone short on your creativity?????? I know the trend of swapping disposable grocery bags for cloth and plastic-lined reusable bags has become an increasingly popular “green” alternative; but this is and should be unacceptable.

I mean how can Louis Vuitton take our Grandma's bags (popularly known as "Ghana must go bags"), stamp their name on it & are selling them for $300 I am speechless and appaled I must say.

Warren Buffett's Fear May Just Be Your Proven Opportunity

Are you an investor, or new to the game? well admitting fear is difficult. But CEO Warren Buffett may just have.

So you can imagine how shocked I was to find out Warren Buffett recently told a select number of investors about the cutting-edge technology that's keeping him awake at night.

This past May, The Motley Fool sent 8 of its best stock analysts to Omaha, Nebraska to attend the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting. CEO Warren Buffett and Vice Chairman Charlie Munger fielded questions for nearly 6 hours.

The catch was: Attendees weren't allowed to record any of it. No audio. No video.

Team of analysts wrote down every single word Buffett and Munger uttered. Over 16,000 words. But only two words stood out to many as the detailed transcript of the event was read: which were "Real threat."

That's how Buffett responded when asked about this emerging market that is already expected to be worth more than $2 trillion in the U.S. alone. Google has already put some of its best engineers behind the technology powering this trend.

The amazing thing is, while Buffett may be nervous, the rest of us can invest in this new industry BEFORE the old money realizes what hit them.

KPMG advises we’re “on the cusp of revolutionary change” coming much “sooner than you think."

Even one legendary MIT professor had to recant his position that the technology was “beyond the capability of computer science.” (He recently confessed to The Wall Street Journal that he’s now a believer and amazed “how quickly this technology caught on.”)

Think about how many amazing technologies you've watched soar to new heights while you kick yourself thinking, "I knew about that technology before everyone was talking about it, but I just sat on my hands."

Don't let that happen again. This time, it should be your family telling you, "I can't believe you knew about and invested in that technology so early on."

That's why I hope you take just a few minutes to access the exclusive research our team of analysts has put together on this industry and one stock positioned to capitalize on this major shift.

Migrant is a word that strips suffering people of voice

The argument that most of those risking everything to land on Europe’s shores are doing it for money is not supported by the facts.

According to the UN, the overwhelming majority of these people are escaping war. The largest group are fleeing Syria, a country in which an estimated 220,000 to more than 300,000 people have been killed during its appalling and escalating war.

Many others come from Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Eritrea and Somalia – all places from which people are commonly given asylum.

There is no "migrant" crisis in the Mediterranean. There is a very large number of refugees fleeing unimaginable misery and danger and a smaller number of people trying to escape the sort of poverty that drives some to desperation.

Migrant is a word that strips suffering people of voice. Substituting it for refugee is – in the smallest way – an attempt to give some back.

Things I Learned In My Few Months Of Marriage

Dear readers, it's been a while since I last posted or upgraded my blog, I sincerely appologise for this. Nevertheless, you all will be happy with the emmense blessings of GOD in my life (letting the cat out of the bag right….!! :-) ***.

On the 14th of February 2015 I, Nadine M. Tonguem officially became Nadine M Tchoumtchoua. My Husband Serge Olivier Tchumtchoua is my rock and I love him dearly. With every second that goes by, his love for me is prove I am not married to a man but rather a HUSBAND. All these I say thank you to the Almighty God For this special gift this year.

It is now a little over two months since our civil wedding and over three months since our traditional wedding; with the ink barely dry on our marriage certificate, it's incredible to witness how much our lives have changed and we still have a lifetime of memories to make. However, here's what we've learned so far:

Monday 20 October 2014

Each year, on the 20th of October, members of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) celebrate International Chefs Day.

The 2014 International Chefs Day theme comes with a twist and is named: PASS IT ON. This theme aims to potentiate the importance of knowledge and skills exchange, while underlining communication, open-minded approach and action for a cause, as one of the key elements to achieve sustainable development, preserve Chefs legacy, and nevertheless – make a good deed.

On this day, chefs around the world celebrate their profession and take the opportunity to not only promote the organization (WACS) but also goodwill and friendship amongst each other, as well as taking the time to help people who are less fortunate.

It is also a day on which to assist the young chefs but, most importantly, the day when we recognize the very important role that chefs play in our societies, for we have a great responsibility not only to feed, but also to give nourishment.

Chefs have the responsibility to lead the way when it comes to the use of ingredients in a sensible and responsible manner. Since the International Chef's Day inauguration in 2004, many events have taken place around the world to benefit charitable organizations and disadvantaged communities; this has highlighted that chefs are caring people and has worked to improve their image.

Happy Birthday, Toni Braxton! You're 47 Today, October 7, 2014

She may be best known for Grammy award-winning songs, but Toni Braxton has done so much more over the years. She has starred on Broadway, appeared on Dancing With The Stars, headlined a two-year gig at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas and was featured in hit TV series and movies such as Kingdom Come. The mother of two boys Denham, 12 1/2, and Diesel, 11, has also done a lot of charity work for Autism Speaks and the American Heart Association. Her son Diesel was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 and ever since Toni has been a spokesperson, raising money for research and promoting awareness.

But Toni had a big challenge ahead of her in 2010, Oct. 6, she filed for bankruptcy once again. The singer is now doing well and we pray for further success in the industry.

Happy Birthday to you Toni Braxton, no matter what, you remain a true legend and more.

A Homeless mom was jailed for leaving her kids in car to go on job interview.

Holy Merry mother of Christ.....!! A Homeless single mom was jailed for leaving her kids in car to go on job interview. Shanesha Taylor is a 35 year old single mum leaves her two sons, a 2 year old and 6 month old. Taylor is still in jail while her children remain in protective custody. My question is? Was she really wrong to leave her kids in the car to go look for a job? After all she is homeless right...? Any psychologist amoung us...or rather behaviour analyst?

Madamenoire.com reports...

The Scottsdale, Ariz. native was arrested after she left her young sons in a hot SUV that was locked with the windows cracked as she went for a job interview at an insurance company. A passerby heard Taylor’s youngest child crying and called police. When they arrived, Taylor returned to her car 45 minutes after police got to the scene, and when police arrested her, the two boys were reportedly “crying and sweating profusely.” Taylor told police that she was homeless and needed the work, and because she couldn’t find someone to watch her kids, she had to take them with her. This event occurred on March 20.
