Olivia Ervi has been interested in the fashion world from a very young age. She used to spend any spare time cutting out patterns and trying out her ideas on her grandmother's curtains and table cloths and turning them into African tunics and selling them at the market. It was with her grandmother's help that she developed her artisitic talent.

She came to Paris at the age of 14 and tried to enroll in some design courses, however she rapidly realised that without the correct elementary education she was not going to be able to get into any of these courses and learn her trade. Her apprentissage was learnt and earnt by going from one workshop to another and learning what she could, thus her technical ability and talent was shaped and she learnt to work with the finest of materials.

In 2006 Olivia Ervi launched her own line of ready to wear clothes and opened a boutique in on the famous Croisette at Cannes. Quickly recognised for her creative talent, she was soon invited to the Cannes Festival and present her spring / summer collection for 2007., for which she received an overwhelming reception.
Olivia Ervi launched her own perfume which are available in most stores in Paris and Cameroon.  The Olivia Ervi style is a rich mix of African and Western culture. Olivia Ervi defines her style as trying to liberate a women's body with a sophisticated style that is not ostentatious.
