Two women confirmed they heard baby cries in the early hours as they headed to the local market; this means this baby was dumped alive. As seen from the photos the baby was left naked in the cold and died eventually as no one came to rescue early enough.
Despite the desperate economic situation of Africa especially Nigeria where this horrific act was committed, this doesn't give any woman the reason to commit such an atrocity.
