Before Ms. Amos headed for a two-day mission in Benin, where heavy floods have affected the north of the country, she visited Paris. During this visit, UN Humanitarian Chief Valerie Amos and French Minister for Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius signed a joint statement on the partnership between France and OCHA, which will help to strengthen strategic relations.
