Warning about sending Nigerian students to Ukraine?!

Nigeria Society
Frank Ngozi Isoh, the Nigerian Ambassador to Ukraine, is advising Nigerians to be wary of sending their children to English Language training institutions as it is believed Ukrainians are not proficient in the language.
According to some states sponsor students, they believe Nigerians get the best when it comes to studying   English language in Ukraine.” Well Nigeria is a native English speaking country ?!!! and Ukraine isnt ??!! right ??!!

It is evident that the lure for most parents is the low cost of tuition which is less that $5000 for a course that could cost up to $20,000 in the United States, Canada or even the United Kingdom. But despite such advantage , it is believed the people who are  teach  in English language are natives of Ukraine.?? country who are also not very proficient in the language.”

According Isoh; who also commented on universities offering medical courses he said the following, “We don’t think that Nigerian medical doctors trained in English speaking universities here get the best. But those who endeavour to learn the language and then attend lectures with the natives certainly get better trained.” He said his best advice to parents would be to get the children to study the local language first to get the best of their education system.

Executive Secretary of NUC Professor Julius Okojie also made reference to a university in Ukraine where there are over 800 medical students and some of the students do not have the qualification in basic sciences..!
