Teens in court charged with murder of Junior Nkwelle

Two teens have been charged with the murder of Junior Nkwelle, who was stabbed outside a block of flats in South London
The 15-year-old stabbed to death in the Loughborough Estate in Brixton, South London, on Thursday evening is said to be a devastating news for the Cameroon community in London. As a result of police investigation, two teens have been charged with the murder of Junior Nkwelle, who was stabbed outside a block of flats in South London. However, the police strongly believe this is not gang-related.

The murdered 15year old's mother Stella, asked members of the public to come forward with any information about the stabbing her son. She said: 'I would like all of the kids who saw what happened to my son to come forward and speak to the police. 'I am pleading with the parents to let their children do that, and to support their children in telling the truth. If they do not it could lead to this happening again one day.'

As of present, a 14-year-old girl has been charged with this murder and will appear at Camberwell Green Youth Court today, according to the Metropolitan Police's spokesperson.  a 16-year-old boy has also been arrested on suspicion of this murder and is in custody at a police station in south London.

This horrific situation has drawn several tributes which have been left for the young boy outside the block of flats on the estate where he killed. One read: 'If football be the food of love "Play on". RIP young fella.'
