D’banj is named the Best Act to represent Africa as a Worldwide Act nominee at the 2012 MTV EMA, billed for Frankfurt, Germany on November 11th, 2012. MTV EMA announced his nomination on their website.
D’banj who is known as an energetic, charismatic and infectious live performer, is the new face of Chris Aire’s Watches in Nigeria.
D’banj whose real name is Dapo Oyebanjo is famous for the numerous awards under his belt such as the Best African Act (MTV Awards Africa) and various other awards from Hip Hop World Awards, NEA and so much more. His third album THE ENTERTAINER was released in the summer of 2008 and has hit tracks such as Gbono Feli Feli, Kimon, Olorun Maje & Entertainer
