The grand opening of West Africa’s first ever modelling school.
Rachael J Williams who is an international model had a grand opening of one of West Africa’s first ever modelling school.
Williams Rachel is a professional, commercial and fashion model. In her recent interview she explained she had to learn all about the fashion industry herself when working in London. After winning Miss Black Britain, Rachael began giving One to One consultations with aspiring models, in the hope of teaching them what she had learnt about the industry so far. However after travelling to West Africa in 2011, Rachael learnt that there were beautiful, talented models but yet one of the reasons they were not used in Major national and international campaigns was due to their lack of professionalism, resources and knowledge about Modelling.
The RJW Modelling Academy will begin with a range of classes in Ghana and Nigeria this year. Models who graduate successfully will be rewarded with a Beauty/Fashion Spread with a Nationwide magazine; they will also have the opportunity to be scouted for an International Modelling Agency. Classes will include Catwalk Training, Posing Techniques, Public Speaking, Personal Development, Interview Skills, Social Networking and Self Promotion.
