The premire of Contract; An Yvonne Okoro movie



Just when we felt Ghanaian movies had clocked their optimum of surprises, Contract the movie says not yet! Ghanaian actress; Yvonne Okoro revived our hibernated minds with the release of her new movie-Contract, directed by the multiple award-winning Director - Shirley Frimpong Manso.  A Sparrow Production joining forces with Yvonne Okoro. It is no doubt we have something to look forwards this festive season with African movies.

In his quest to find the woman who will take his money, have his child and disappear, Peter begins a roller coaster, contracted relationship with Abena Boateng, a crude but clever local girl who is anything but impressed with Peter's affluence. More details and preview after the cut >>>>



According to the preview, this movie is rich with transparent and exciting comedy, but at the same time concentrating its core story to the modern factual society issues; giving a lot to laugh about.

‘Contract’ as said earlier is an Yvonne Okoro movie, starring South Africa’s Hlomla Dandala of Jacob’s cross fame, Nigerian sensation Joseph Benjamin, Yvonne Okoro herself and several other talented actors.

It narrates the story of a “successful Businessman Peter Poplampo, the ultimate alpha male who is 40 years old, rich, and a bachelor. Despite his mother’s consistency attempts to find him a woman, Peter stands firm to his rule of non-committal casual dates, freedom and being in control of his life until the burning desire to have a child arises. The rest to be discovered when the movie is released.

Contract’ stands to grand premiere on Friday 28th December at the National Theatre, 6.30pm. And on Saturday 29th December ‘Contract’ will begin showing at the SilverBird Cinema, Accra Mall.
