Former governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC arrested the son of former governor of Kogi State today, Prince Abubakar Adudu, Mustapha Audu and his wife, Zahrah Audu.
In a press statement released today by the EFCC; signed by its acting head of media and publicity Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, the commission said it arrested the two suspects over a property scam to the tune of N18million.
It is indicated both suspects who owned constructors Guild Limited, obtained the above sum from a certain Nike Kolawole under the pretend of helping her secure choice properties in Katampe Extension, and Caemly Estate, Idu Sabo, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Both are due to attend their first court hearing at Federal High Court 12, Maitama, Abuja.
