Our hearts goes to Viviane Ndour as she reportedly lost her mother Marie Fall who died today at l’hôpital Le Dantec in Senegal. Viviane is a dear friend to many not forgetting the CEA (Cameroon Entertainment Award) team who are wishing her well as she goes through this sorrowful times. their phones, ipad, jewelries, cash and many more valuables in an attack last night. Although
the couple were not hurt in the process, but they sure still can't get over
the unfortunate incident. Meanwhile the police are still yet to identify any suspect.
International Day of the Girl October 11 2012
Thursday October 11 2012, The Beyond the Classroom Foundation and HACEY’s Health Initiative will celebrate the International Day of the Girl under the theme of ‘HEALTH, EMPOWERMENT, AND RIGHTS’ at the
Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos, Akoka. The reason for this theme is to
address important issues of discrimination against girls childreen in in the area of
equality in accessing health care, empowerment opportunities and basic
rights such as education, issues like of various forms of abuse of girl child will also be addressed in relation to the homes and the society.
New Born Baby Found Dead In Waste Refuge
Two women confirmed they heard baby cries in the early hours as they headed to the local market; this means this baby was dumped alive. As seen from the photos the baby was left naked in the cold and died eventually as no one came to rescue early enough.
Despite the desperate economic situation of Africa especially Nigeria where this horrific act was committed, this doesn't give any woman the reason to commit such an atrocity.
