We need FDI, home generated companies and brands to compete globally; all these  requires talking about the genuine good side of Africa.

Most western countries place limitations on aid to African nations. These limitations are often used to control the governments of these African nations; as a result, these nations are turning to non-traditional sources of financial aid. China has increasingly provided financial aid to Africa in order to secure contracts on natural resources. There usually is no political prescription.

Is this empowering?  No, you cannot empower by making people feel low psychologically (from head of nations to citizens). Africa has much more than these depressing limitations often talked about in the media. It is more empowering talking about people and companies who have succeeded in this same business environment (both multinationals and domestic companies) despite all the limitations; as this gives hope, it is aspiring and mostly, it empower the young generation to strive for success whatever their circumstance.

It evident that, most African countries cannot control their political systems, but they can start by changing themselves. And young people can be empowered in the process by showing to them products of African success/success stories. That is the mission of this page and we hope you all join in to share and discuss many of your knowledge on the extraordinary successes Africa be it in entertainment, political, economical and even technological progress.
