Yes it is confirmed to be true. From defending whitenicious to donating for a good cause...!! Yes ooo the Nigerian-Cameroonian pop star Dencia donated about $250 000 to Nigeria for Ebola cure research; this according to Star Gist.
Tearing in a video, Dencia took upon herself to educate people on the history and origin of Ebola and gave statistics on the number of lives Ebola has claimed since it recently resurfaced March this year. Repeating her words, ‘Ebola is spreading like wild fire and it needs to be contained because it’s just one flight away from you and me, Ebola would kill you faster than cancer, malaria, cholera, typhoid and HIV, but we can contain it, that’s why I’m trying to set up this ‘GoFund’ campaign for us to raise money and help people’. Dencia, who currently lives in Los Angeles went on to share her personal experience as a sick child who grew up in Africa saying ‘I grew up in Africa and I used to be very sick, by the time I was 16, I had been through 8 medical surgeries, I was fortunate to come from a family that could afford that, I was fortunate to be raised by my grandmother that could make sacrifices for me, but today I’m in a better place, I’m in America, I’m not in Liberia, Ghana, Congo, Sudan or Nigeria and I sort of feel safe, but I know Ebola is a flight away. Growing up in Africa, clean water was a luxury.’
Dencia's heart was more felt as she quoted the bible, saying ‘Mathew 7 vs 7 says ask and you shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall open, together we can help this people Through the Dencia foundation for hope, I promise that I would personally take these things and travel to Africa and go into these small communities and deliver them, because I was raised in the army and in the army we go into the battlefield regardless, and that’s why I would personally put down 250,000 dollars towards helping these people.'...
Hmmmm this donation is hell of a money..! so why not spend it on our troubles in Africa ehhh! Good job sister! all ya cash bankers out there should follow up on this example please !
