Cameroon Indomitable Lions’ Captain Samuel Eto’o is kissing goodbye to bachelorhood


Cameroon international and Indomitable Lions’ Captain Samuel Eto’o has decided on kissing bachelorhood goodbye by proposing to long-time girlfriend and mother of two of his children Tra Lou Georgette, according to sources close to the lady’s family in Ivory Coast. 



The 33-year-old Eto’o, Geogette and their two children arrived in Abidjan last weekend for a brief engagement ceremony, during which Eto’o offered a diamond ring worth €500,000 to his wife to be, who has spent nine years with him, Supersport reported.

During a seminar held on Friday 20th of Juin 2014 in Douala, SYCODEW members who are all traders from both the formal and informal sector were sensitized on the benefits of adhering to a (centres de gestion agréés ) CGA for managing their taxes. This was an initiative of Pierre WANSSY firm and associates. This seminar recieved te support and the participation of Chartered Accountants Without Borders from France. 

 For two hours, retailers traders of Wouri under SYCODEW forgeot about their everyday routine substituting with seminar experience; they all had shirts and pen in hand,  they took notes and asked various questions that were of interest to their segments. Under the leadership pannel we had: Dr. Peter Wanssy; owner of the (centres de gestion agréés) CGA and of  Pierre WANSSY firm and associates,  M. Tchendjou; General president of SYCODEW , and two members of accountants without border from France.

Why African-American women breastfeed less?



Recent figures from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that, only 62% of black babies born in the US in 2010 started breastfeeding, compared to 79% of white babies. After six months, only 36% still breastfed, compared to 52% of white babies.

According to BBC Reporte by Kate Dailey, this was always the case says Monique Sims-Harper, director of A More Excellent Way Health Improvement Organization and a spokeswoman for the California Breastfeeding Coalition. "When blacks came to this country they breastfed their babies and often their masters' babies," Read more here BBC News

Chimamanda's ultimatum to President Jonathan about Boko Haram national security threat


Boko Haram threat to national and continental security contunues to make social media headlines. The awards winning writter Chimamanda (Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie) is asking President Jonathan to be utterly consumed by the state of security in Nigeria. Chimamanda has a strong attachment with the Northern part of Nigeria. As she explained in one of her twits yesterday, some of her relatives lived for decades in Kano, and Bornu. They speak fluent Hausa. In fact, one of her relative taught her at the age of eight, to count in Hausa. She believes the northern people need to be protected from these vandasl. Such stories are also shared by many other celebrities like her.

Boko Haram attack on Cameroon police killing two

The situation with Biko Haram in Africa is seriously taking a worst turn and putting everyone into a panic state. Are we safe at all these days?

A police officer and a detainee were shot dead overnight in an attack suspected to be Boko Haram. The police unit in northern Cameroon was attacked on Monday says a security source. 

“Boko Haram attacked the unit in the night. (The attackers) were looking for a detained member. They left with him and with other people who were in the same cell,” said the source, who asked not to be named.

Please bring back our 200 nigerian school girls

Join me in the plead to the Nigerian government and to boko haram vandals for the safe return of the 200 Nigerian girls teenagers who were brutally abducted from school few days ago. These girls are the leaders of tomorrow. The Nigerian gov't need to do more with their borders as well as neighbouring countries. Also the internationals need to step in please in the intelligent search of these children....much prayers goes to the victim's families
