MALI: Children take up guns

Children as young as 14 are joining military training camps run by militias in southern Mali preparing to fight Islamist groups in the north. At the same time, Islamist groups in the north are recruiting children as young as 11 to man checkpoints, gather intelligence, search vehicles and patrol the streets in Gao, Timbuktu and Kidal, according to aid agencies and human rights groups.

Aki and Paw become movie producers

The two Nollywood stars, Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) and Osita Iheme (Paw Paw) are marking their ten years in movie industry by releasing a comedy film produced by both of them before the end of this year. Aki and Paw are working together as movie producers on this project.

Nigerian actor and movie producer, Pascal Atuma says the villagers of Aluu community hate students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)

He stated that the community has never liked the students. The US-based Nigerian actor and movie producer, Pascal Atuma has accused villagers of Aluu community of being hostile to students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT). He recently stated that incident of the Aluu brutal killing of four UNIPORT students didn't start today but rather a long time ago. Atuma made this allegations known through his Facebook wall.

Implications of plastic surgery: Cross River Governor's wife 'First Lady' Obioma Liyel Imoke is suffering from severe complications.

Last month, paradigmshiftng.com published a story sourced from the National Enquirer Magazine which revealed that the wife of the Cross River State Governor, Obioma Liyel Imoke is dying from complications arising from the tummy tuck surgery she did in India.

Members of the public were furious owing to the fact that our memory is enmershed in the corruption and wastage that surrounds such superfluous surgery from the wife of an elected public servant.

14 year old girl is considered a threat for wanting to be educated..!!

A  very sad story for humanity when a 14 year old girl is a threat to adult men with machine guns when it is realized she  wants  education for herself and others like her! Her courage is inspiring to all young girl.

Malala Yousafzai her name in the real sense, is stronger and braver than a million men with million guns. She will continue to fight for this basic right that the rest of us have and we should all join to fight for this for the sake of all those in need.

The UN humanitarian chief Valerie Amos, says the solution for Syria is a political one. Do you agree?
