A  very sad story for humanity when a 14 year old girl is a threat to adult men with machine guns when it is realized she  wants  education for herself and others like her! Her courage is inspiring to all young girl.

Malala Yousafzai her name in the real sense, is stronger and braver than a million men with million guns. She will continue to fight for this basic right that the rest of us have and we should all join to fight for this for the sake of all those in need.

Solution for all children to complete primary school in Africa

Significant numbers of children are spending six years in primary school and still not being able to read a complete sentence, adding to this, there is a rising numbers of children out of school in sub-Saharan Africa; the latest report by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) paints a gloomy picture of the state of the world’s education.

Progress towards goals set in Dakar 12 years ago has been patchy, and the biggest failure, according to UNESCO, has been on the promise made there to equip teenagers and young adults with the skills they need for life.

On the night of 14 October, armed men attacked a power station in the commercial capital Abidjan. Another gang hit a town in the east of the city where they tried to break into a police and paramilitary forces’ base.

In August, gunmen raided military posts and police stations in separate incidents in Abidjan. On 20 September, three people were killed when armed assailants attacked two police stations and a paramilitary forces’ post in Port-Bouët to the south of Abidjan. Hours later gunmen attacked the Noé border post with Ghana, some 170km east of the city.
